The Vivotek VS3100P and VS3102 Video Servers will convert any item with a composite video and audio output, such as a CCTV camera or DVR in to an MPEG4 IP video/audio stream. They have a BNC socket for video input, a phono socket for audio input, an alarm input, a relay output and a 10/100MB network socket for quick and easy connection to a local or wide area network (internet). The VS3102 also has an RS232 port and an RS485 port, the RS232 port can be used to connect the unit to a modem allowing it to be accessed by a standard PSTN telephone line and the RS485 port can be connected to any compatible PTZ camera or Speed Dome, allowing it to be controlled remotely. The built in web server allows it to be accessed quickly and easily from Internet Explorer from any other PC on the same network or across the internet. To prevent unauthorised access the units feature multilevel multi user password protection. In addition to the web server access the camera is also supplied with Vivotek's 16 Camera DVR software which allows viewing, configuring and recording of up to 16 Vivotek cameras & Video Servers.
