The D-PLEX multiplexer has the facility for activity detection,which allows each camera to be configured to respond the movement in the camera view. Upon detection, the unit varies the recording speed.
Additionally areas may require hardware detectors such as door sensors, PIRs, long range beams and these can also be integrated into the system by using alarm inputs on the rear of the multiplexer.
When in multiscreen, the operator can configure the different screen formats by selecting which cameras are shown and which order they appear, added to this is the menu option to configure the contrast, brightness and colour level of the incoming cameras allowing the images to be set to the same level to improve the viewing image for the operator.
