The next generation in IP surveillance the RX7101 Video Receiver will connect to a local or wide area network (Internet) and receive video and audio streams from up to 4 Vivotek cameras or Video Servers anywhere on the same network (Internet). The RX7101 takes away the need for a PC to receive images from IP cameras and video servers, making true remote IP surveillance without a PC a realistic proposition for the first time. Once received these streams are turned in to an analogue video signal which will show all 4 streams as a quad image (each camera shown in 360x288 resolution) or each camera individually (at 704x576). It also features an RS485 passthrough which can be used to control Speed Domes and other RS485 equipment connected to a Vivotek Video Server. It has a BNC socket and SVHS socket for video output, and a phono socket for audio output. It also has a 10/100MB network socket for quick and easy connection to a local or wide area network (Internet). The built in web server allows it to be accessed quickly and easily from Internet Explorer from any other PC on the same network or across the internet, for configuration purposes. To prevent unauthorised access the units features password protection.
