The Ganz Roadstar camera captures the images of car number plates from moving vehicles both day and night conditions. When the headlights are switched on, the dark IR lights located beneath the housing illuminates the registration plate without blinding the driver.
Roadstar Integrated Number Plate Capture Cameras

Due to the nature of the application images appear in black and white. A specially made filter and camera are expertly set up during the assembly process. The Roadstar camera system comprises of camera, filters, lens, brackets and an IR illuminator. The assembly, wiring and testing is performed prior to packing and customer shipment. The ANPR camera overcomes all problems associated with number plate capture - speed, reflectivity, sunlight, car headlights and depth of field - regardless of ambient lighting conditions.Because the installation of the assembly is simple, it can be wall or pole mounted in car parks, hotels, petrol stations, highways, etc. The integrated number plate capture camera is designed for high performance, long life and low maintenance.NOTE: During night-time operation ROADSTAR will only provide images of number plate,– there will be no further video information. During the day, ROADSTAR may provide some additional background scene information.
